Before starting HIFU treatment, we offer a free initial consultation to evaluate your skin's current state and decide on the appropriate pulse depth for your area and needs.
PREPARATORY SESSION
We start with a gentle cleansing of the area to be treated, and mark it out with a pencil in order to better guide the practitioner. We then apply an ultrasound gel to facilitate ultrasound penetration.
DURING THE SESSION
The therapist adjusts the machine's intensity and selects the head according to the area to treat. The device will then be run along the skin to deliver the ultrasound in a targeted manner.
AFTER THE SESSION
HIFU treatment is a non-invasive procedure and leaves no marks on the skin. At SSSKIN, we organize follow-up sessions to closely observe your skin's response to the treatment and its progress over time. Depending on the results obtained after your first session, the therapist will decide on the number of sessions you will need.

Yes, HIFU can be performed on all skin types, from the fairest to the darkest. Tanned skin can also receive the treatment, because skin color does not affect its effectiveness.
For best results, we recommend to perform one or two sessions with a 4- to 6-week interval. The final result of HIFU is visible within a few weeks or months of treatment, and last from 1 to 3 years.
There is little or no pain with the HIFU procedure, apart from a slight tingling or warm sensation in certain areas after the session.
However, pain depends on each individual's sensitivity. For maximum comfort, the therapist may apply anesthetic cream if required.
