WHAT HAPPENS DURING A PRP SESSION AT SSSKIN?

Consultation gratuite (30 min)
An initial consultation with our therapist is organized before proceeding with the treatment. This allows us to perform a personalized diagnosis, identify your skin's needs, and plan your first session.

Blood sampling
Before starting, the therapist ensures that proper aseptic and hygienic conditions are strictly respected at every stage of preparation, since the product obtained must be of the highest quality. In the first stage, the therapist draws a standard blood sample of around 8 ml.

Centrifugation
After blood sampling, the blood is then centrifuged. This process takes about 8–10 minutes, allowing us to isolate the plasma (PRP) from the other elements of the blood.

Re-injection
The final step is to reinject the collected plasma into the skin using sterile microneedles. The amount of plasma and the depth of the injections are adjusted according to your needs. The whole procedure lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. You can resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment.

Post-treatment follow-up
Our team will ensure aftercare to track the evolution of the PRP results over the weeks and months following the treatment.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PRP
It takes 3 to 6 months to start seeing results. The effects of treatment improve further over the months and treatments. The skin becomes smoother, softer and more luminous, while hair gains in vitality and volume, and hair loss is more controlled.
One entire PRP session lasts between 40 min and 1 hour, depending on the size and number of areas to be treated, and the time required for blood sampling, plasma extraction and reinjection.
You can undergo a PRP treatment 10 days after or before a hair transplant to reactivate hair follicles and boost regrowth.
PRP will not cure advanced baldness or a bald area completely devoid of hair follicles. Please note that the treatment does not regrow hair that no longer exists. But in cases of early to moderate hair loss, PRP can significantly reduce hair loss and make it grow back thicker.
The results last from 1 year to 18 months. To prolong the effects of PRP, we recommend planning a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months.
